Competitors information NKHTGT Benelux Open Races at Circuit Zandvoort Friday 11 September and Saturday 12 September 2020
Race with two starting grids
We’ll share the track with our Triumph Competitions-British HTGT in two 45-minute races. We have two separate starting grids with a total of around 50 cars. There will be a rolling start, with the two start grids starting the race 20 seconds apart. There is a mandatory 60 second pit stop between the 15th and 30th minute of the race, with a driver change for two driver teams. The maximum noise level during this event is limited to 89 dBA.

Provisional entry list and waiting list!
Please check your details thoroughly and report any inaccuracies a.s.a.p.! There is a small chance that the race numbers have to be altered for practical reasons (two start grids). If this is the case, we’ll let you know a.s.a.p. Both NKHTGT and Triumph Competitions have a waiting list at this moment, so please let us know a.s.a.p. if you cannot start in this event to allow competitors on the waiting list to take your place.
The paddock will be open from Thursday 10 September from 6:00 pm. Scrutineering will take place in the paddock on Thursday evening. For those arriving later, there scrutineering will be possible on Friday morning. To access the paddock, you must print the enclosed pass (Pass Zandvoort), fill it out and show it at the paddock entrance.
Nolte Küchen windscreen streamer
After two years of very much appreciated Catawiki sponsorship, Nolte Küchen is our highly valued new main sponsor. Therefore all participating cars must have the Nolte Küchen windscreen streamer on the car during qualifying and the races. The streamer will be issued during scrutineering.
A corona protocol will be applicable during the event. We’ll come back on this subject in a separate email, but we already make an urgent strong appeal to all our participants and their helpers to respect the protocols and to observe the already well-known corona code of conduct in any case:
- keep a safe distance of at least 1.5 meters
- do not shake hands
- wash your hands well and as often as you can
- stay at home if you or someone in your household has tested positive for corona
- stay at home if you or someone in your household has symptoms that could indicate a corona infection (fever, cough, sneezing and loss of taste / smell, etc).
Unfortunately: no prize giving ceremony
It is a great pity of course, but due to the corona situation, no NKHTGT prize giving ceremony can take place.
